Licensed Addictions Counselor
Letha was drawn to counseling through a desire to help others. As a Licensed Addiction Counselor and Mental Health Counselor, she helps individuals and families who struggle with substance use, truancy, family and relationship issues, stress, adjustment, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health related issues. She has an understanding of cultural competence and uses it in all areas of work with clients. Letha moved to Colorado from the Washington D.C. area and completed her MS degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Colorado state requirements for Addiction Counseling, and COAMFTE requirements for Marriage and Family Therapy. In order to help individuals on their individual journeys, Letha has expanded her clinical expertise to include being a Certified Systemic Art Therapist, Play Therapist, and Sandplay Therapist. As a therapist, it is her hope to remind people of their value by being fully present, genuine, accepting, and empathic. In her spare time, Letha enjoys spending time with her family, working out, going for long walks, and attending sporting events.
