Gabriella D. Ruelas is a new staff member of the Special Education Department.  Ms. Ruelas graduated summa-cum-laude from Regis University with a degree in psychology and is earning her Masters’s in Special Education with Licensure.  Her valuable experience includes her tenure at Lookout Mountain High School, a youth detention facility.  She has also directed preschools and before and after-school programs.

Her lifelong calling has been in education and she cherishes her experience sharing life’s lessons positively with her students.  Ms. Ruelas lives with her youngest daughter and two cats.

What is Your Why?

I wish to be the change I want to see in the world today. I believe all students can learn and reach their own personal potential. I aspire to help improve the individual educational journey and hope to inspire others to do the same.
