RiseUp Receives Governor’s Bright Spot Award
We are humbled and honored to be the recipient of Governor Polis’s Bright Spot Award! We are one of 21 schools recognized in the state and are one of 5 high schools, 6 from Denver, and only 2 alternative high schools.
Registration for the 2022-23 School Year
Registration for this school will be in person at RiseUp Community School on Thursday, August 11th from 2:00-6:00 pm and Friday, August 12th from 11:00 am-2:00 pm.

New Course-Comprehensive Human Sexuality Education

The curriculum is age-appropriate, medically accurate, does not promote a specific religion, encourages family communication, provides students information on recognizing and avoiding sexual abuse, develops knowledge and skills, and promotes healthy attitudes toward development, self-esteem, and body image.
